Position:  Corporate Planning Officer (CPO-CSA)

The Corporate Planning Officer plays a key role in supporting the long-term goals of the organization by driving strategic planning, performance management, and efficient resource allocation. This role works closely with senior leadership to analyze market and industry trends, set strategic directions, and execute business plans. Key responsibilities include business strategy formulation, performance monitoring, risk analysis, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Formulation and Execution Support
   • Develop long-term business strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals, and provide execution plans.
   • Analyze market conditions, competitors, and industry trends to provide strategic direction.
   • Oversee strategic project management and monitor execution progress.
2. Setting Business Objectives and Performance Management
   • Establish annual and quarterly business objectives, aligning with senior leadership to define strategic initiatives.
   • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress against targets.
   • Evaluate departmental performance and propose improvements to drive results.
3. Financial Management and Budget Planning
   • Support the development of business plans and budgets, offering financial perspectives to adjust strategic plans.
   • Manage resource allocation to optimize cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth.
   • Analyze budget execution and performance to improve business efficiency.
4. Risk Management and Mitigation
   • Identify potential risks in the business environment and internal operations and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
   • Establish risk management frameworks and regularly report risk status to the leadership team.
5. Internal Communication and Collaboration
   • Facilitate effective communication across departments and promote a collaborative work environment.
   • Coordinate departmental strategies and execution plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
   • Manage relationships and communications with external partners, investors, and stakeholders.
6. Supporting Executive Decision-Making
   • Provide analytical support and documentation to aid strategic decision-making by the BOD.
   • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on key strategic initiatives and business performance.
   • Conduct data analysis and modeling to support executive decisions.
7. Market and Industry Analysis
   • Conduct regular market trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry landscape reviews.
   • Monitor economic, political, and regulatory changes that could impact the company’s strategy and market positioning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy planning and management
  • Experience in formulating business strategies in various industries (e.g., finance, manufacturing, IT, retail)
  • Expertise in financial analysis, business analysis, and market research for data-driven decision-making
• Skills:
  • Proven ability in strategic planning and execution
  • Strong financial management and budgeting experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and ERP systems
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on execution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced business qualification
• Expertise in corporate strategy and management in specific industries
• Experience in global markets and external partnerships
• Background in management consulting or strategic project management
