Ciptadana Art Exhibition 2015

For Ciptadana, the eye of the artist represents a window into another world. Their vision, and the way they express and interpret what they see, leads to creations that inspire, excite, perplex, or that can start a chain reaction that echoes onward for generations.

Such catalysts result from thinking the unthinkable, imagining the unimaginable, and attempting the impossible …from not relying on what we know, but from daring to question everything we take for granted and forging new directions, discovering new perspectives, and adopting new techniques.

Ciptadana believe it is an approach not dissimilar to that needed for success in business. They have demonstrated that looking beyond the predictable, while never losing sight of foundations and wisdom that have stood the test of time, can prove highly profitable for those with the expertise and experience to see through the distracting mirages to identify the real rewards to be found.

Through their Art Program, Ciptadana encourages clients and business partners to connect with Indonesia’s cultural and artistic heritage, and benefit both themselves and the creative individuals that play such an important role in helping define contemporary Indonesia.

For this 25th anniversary year, the Ciptadana Art program is staging a major exhibition featuring the work of five of Indonesia’s leading sculptors: Anusapati, Awan Parulian Simatupang, Hedi Hariyanto, Ichwan Noor, and Teguh Supriyono.

The exhibition, entitled ‘Sculpture Extended’, is being staged in Pacific Place Mall, Jakarta. It opens on 20th October 2015, and will run for 12days until October 31st.
